My First Book of Offering is a children’s illustrated guide for the Maronite Divine Liturgy.
Each page helps the child follow along with the Divine Liturgy with the fixed parts of the Divine Liturgy on the left page and an illustration on the right page. Most of the illustrations are two parts – the bottom shows what is taking place in the Church, and the top picture gives a spiritual understanding of the physical action.
The book is designed to help children learn how to participate more fully in the Divine Liturgy, both in the responses and in understanding the significance of the different actions of the service.
